Rustler provides a chaotic open-world experience that pays homage to classic top-down action titles. It features a historically inaccurate medieval setting where you play as a peasant thug. Because the world is full of pop-culture references, every mission feels fresh and comedic. Consequently, you can experience feudal injustice while joining the Grand Tournament. You can choose to follow the plot or simply bring mayhem to the villages.

This sandbox features unique mechanics like hiring bards to act as your personal radio. It features a wide arsenal of weapons including swords and holy hand grenades. Because the gameplay is inspired by old-school styles, it offers a nostalgic yet modern feel. Consequently, you can explore the world on a stolen horse or a drifting cart. Controller support ensures smooth handling during the most intense fights.
