The BRITA MAXTRA PRO Pure Performance filter cartridges are the original replacement filters for BRITA jugs, and this 6-pack provides a full half-year supply in one convenient order. Each cartridge uses an innovative 4-stage filtration system that reduces a wide range of unwanted substances from tap water – including PFAS, chlorine, limescale, lead, copper, pesticides, and herbicide residues.

The filtration technology combines natural activated carbon made from coconut shells with ion exchange beads, working together to improve both the taste and quality of your drinking water. The result is noticeably fresher, cleaner-tasting water for drinking cold, making hot drinks, and cooking – without the need for bottled water.

Each cartridge has a capacity of up to 150 litres over four weeks, which is an improvement over the previous MAXTRA+ model. This also means less frequent cartridge changes while maintaining consistently high filtration performance. Protecting your kettle and coffee machine from limescale buildup is an added bonus that extends the life of your kitchen appliances.

From an environmental perspective, switching to filtered tap water significantly reduces single-use plastic bottle consumption. BRITA estimates that 1 litre of filtered water produces 25 times less CO2 than bottled water – a meaningful everyday impact. The cartridges themselves are made with 50% bio-based plastic and are recyclable.

Certified by TÜV and ISCC, these are genuine BRITA originals – not third-party alternatives – ensuring full compatibility and reliable performance with all BRITA MAXTRA PRO jugs.
