The AOC CQ27G4X is a 27-inch QHD curved gaming monitor built around a Fast VA panel that delivers both strong colour performance and the competitive-grade speed that serious gamers need. With a 2560 x 1440 resolution, 180Hz refresh rate, and 0.5ms MPRT response time, it sits in a compelling position for anyone looking to upgrade from a standard 1080p display without stepping up to a premium flagship price.

The 1500R curvature wraps the screen around your field of view, making the 27-inch size feel larger and more enveloping than a flat panel of equivalent size. This is particularly noticeable in open-world games, racing titles, and cinematic content where peripheral immersion plays a meaningful role. The Fast VA panel delivers deep blacks and high contrast, with HDR10 support adding improved dynamic range and colour vibrancy when enabled.

At 180Hz, the panel refreshes three times faster than a standard 60Hz display, delivering dramatically smoother motion in fast-paced games. The 0.5ms MPRT response time minimises ghosting and motion blur during rapid movement, while AMD FreeSync Premium synchronises the frame rate between your GPU and monitor to eliminate screen tearing without introducing input lag. The monitor is also G-Sync compatible for Nvidia users.

The height-adjustable eSports stand is a genuine standout at this price point, designed with a compact footprint that leaves room for peripherals on your desk while keeping the monitor at an ergonomically correct height. Cable management is built into the stand. Connections include DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0 ports, plus a 3.5mm headphone output.
