The imoo Z1 is a dedicated children’s smartwatch designed as a safe communication and location tool for kids, combining real-time GPS tracking, HD video calling, voice calling, SOS functionality, and parental controls in a single wearable device. It is built by imoo, a brand that has focused exclusively on children’s smartwatches since 2015 and has reached over 50 million families worldwide.

The GPS tracking uses a combination of GPS, Wi-Fi, and smart sensors to provide real-time location data both indoors and outdoors. Parents can monitor their child’s location through the imoo app at any time, which is particularly useful for school commutes, after-school activities, and any situation where a child is out of direct sight. The app also allows parents to manage contacts, block unknown calls, and enable Class Mode, which disables the watch’s communication functions during school hours to avoid distractions.

The HD video call function allows face-to-face communication between child and parent at the touch of a button, which is a meaningful step above voice-only calling for younger children who benefit from seeing a familiar face. The one-touch SOS button lets a child immediately call pre-approved trusted contacts and share their location in an emergency.

The watch is rated IPX8 waterproof, meaning it can withstand submersion beyond standard splash resistance, and is made with soft, skin-friendly materials for comfortable all-day wear. The 1.3-inch touchscreen display is clear and easy for children to navigate independently. Available in Green and Pink. Note: requires a SIM card for full functionality including GPS and calling when away from Wi-Fi.
