Mark your calendars for a perfect seaside weekend: the Howth Maritime & Seafood Festival is back on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 September 2025 from 12 PM to 6 PM, and entry is completely free!

Set in the picturesque harbour village of Howth, this family-friendly festival celebrates Ireland’s maritime heritage with live music, seafood tastings, interactive foraging walks, face painting, kite workshops, quiet sensory spaces, and more.

From the Sea Life displays by Howth Sea Angling Club to food stalls like Rockin Ribs, Fish & Chips, and La Vita Ice Cream, there’s something for every taste and age. The DART drops you right at the entrance, so it’s easy to reach by train.

This event is fully supported by Fingal County Council, and it’s a brilliant way to experience local crafts, Irish music, and the charm of Howth, all without spending a cent.

🧭 Tip: The seaweed foraging walks require timing with the tide: Check the times and meet at Howth Scout Den, just behind the DART station.
