The Breville BRITA HotCup combines kettle convenience with the speed of a coffee machine. Instead of waiting for a full pot to boil, it dispenses a single cup of filtered boiling water in under one minute – perfect for tea, coffee, instant soups or even quick meal prep like noodles or gravy. The integrated BRITA Maxtra filter removes limescale, chlorine and heavy metals while boiling, so every cup tastes cleaner and fresher than water from a normal kettle.

The 1.8 litre tank holds enough for up to nine drinks before refilling. You can adjust the dispense size with nine different cup settings, and if the cup starts to fill too much, you simply hit the stop button. The large water window lights up blue during boiling, so you can see exactly when it is ready. It also uses less energy than a kettle because it only heats the amount of water needed instead of boiling everything inside.

The stainless steel exterior fits well in modern kitchens, while the removable drip tray keeps the counter clean. It is ideal for anyone who drinks multiple hot beverages throughout the day or wants to avoid lifting a heavy kettle. It is especially convenient in shared households where several people make drinks one after another, or for those who want filtered water without using a separate jug.

Unlike traditional kettles that build up limescale inside, the combination of removable filter and concealed heating makes cleaning quick and straightforward. Once you get used to pressing a button instead of lifting a kettle, it is hard to go back.
