If you want a Bluetooth speaker that does not look like a plastic toy this one is pure metal and built like a travel gadget from a Bond film. The Beosound Explore weighs just 650 grams but the aluminium shell is hard anodised which means it resists scratches drops and rough use. It is fully waterproof and dustproof so you can bring it to the beach the campsite or the shower without worrying about damage.

Sound is surprisingly powerful for the size thanks to dual full range drivers and 360 degree acoustics. You can put it in the middle of a table hang it from a tent pole or attach it to your backpack with the included carabiner and it will throw music evenly in every direction. It handles bass more cleanly than most speakers in this size class and does not distort at high volume. With up to 27 hours of playtime you do not have to recharge daily which makes it reliable for weekends away or long outdoor sessions.

Controls are simple and work in all conditions even with wet or dusty hands. You can also pair two units for true stereo sound. It connects instantly to phones tablets and laptops and the companion app lets you adjust EQ if you prefer more bass or brighter vocals.

This is not a gimmick speaker it is a long term audio tool that looks premium feels solid and performs wherever you take it.
