These Wilson Starter balls are made for younger players and anyone who wants to learn tennis without chasing balls across the whole court. They bounce 50 percent slower than normal tennis balls, which gives beginners more time to position properly and hit clean shots instead of missing due to speed. The softer synthetic felt is gentle on rackets, floors and even hands, making them ideal for school training, garden rallies or indoor practice.

Even though they are designed for children, many adults use them for warm-up sessions, coordination drills or controlled exercises. They are also surprisingly popular as dryer balls or dog toys because they are tougher and do not shred as fast as cheap supermarket balls. If you are teaching tennis to kids or just want something fun for casual play without constant chasing, this is one of the best stage two options on the market.
