The Yamaha F310 is one of those guitars that makes people actually stick with learning instead of quitting after a week. It is a full size model but still easy to handle thanks to the slimmer neck and the slightly shorter scale, which means you do not have to press the strings as hard as on many other beginner guitars. The body is made from real spruce and meranti wood so it still delivers a warm sound instead of the dull box tone most cheap acoustics produce. This is the kind of instrument that lets you start with simple chords and still enjoy how it rings out. No built in electronics or gimmicks. Just a proper traditional western style guitar that you can take to a campfire or keep in your bedroom for late night playing.

The tuning gears hold the pitch well even when played daily and the finish is smooth without any sharp frets. Most reviews mention that it actually sounds better than guitars that cost twice as much which is rare praise in the acoustic world. Whether you want to learn pop songs, country rhythm or fingerstyle blues this model responds well to different playing techniques. Even experienced players sometimes buy this as a travel guitar because it is reliable and light without feeling like a toy.
