Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order for PS5 delivers a polished next gen version of one of the most popular single player adventures in the Star Wars universe. You follow Cal Kestis who survived Order 66 and is forced back into action as the Empire expands its control across the galaxy. The PS5 edition improves textures, performance and loading times which makes the world feel more fluid and responsive.

The lightsaber combat system is a highlight. It mixes timing, parries, dodges and Force abilities in a way that is easy to learn but rewarding when mastered. As you unlock new skills the combat opens up and you gain more control over how you tackle enemies. The Force powers also play a role in traversal which gives the game a mix of combat, movement and puzzle solving.

The planets you explore feel different from each other with forests, caves, ruins and hostile environments that reward exploration. Once you gain new abilities there are reasons to revisit earlier areas since you can access new paths. This creates a natural sense of progression without forcing you in a specific direction.

The PS5 upgrade adds 4K resolution, improved lighting and a stable frame rate which makes the action smooth and visually sharp. The loading times are noticeably faster which helps if you retry challenging segments. The disc includes the full game without extra requirements which makes it simple to start playing immediately.

If you enjoyed story driven games like Uncharted or God of War this title fits the same style and offers a strong mix of narrative and gameplay. It is also a good entry point if you are new to Star Wars since the story stands on its own.
