The Einhell GE LC 18/25 Li is one of the most popular entry level cordless chainsaws because it delivers enough cutting power for real garden work without the noise, weight or maintenance of petrol models. With the included 3.0 Ah battery and fast charger, it is ready to use straight out of the box and compatible with all other Power X Change tools.

The 25 cm OREGON bar and chain give clean cuts and are suitable for pruning trees, trimming branches, cutting firewood and handling small to medium logs. For most homeowners this size is more than enough and easier to control than larger saws. The saw is light, well balanced and easy to operate even for people who are not used to chainsaws.

Safety features are a strong point. Kickback protection with an instant mechanical chain brake stops the chain immediately if the saw rears up. A metal claw stop stabilises the saw against the wood, and the chain catch bolt prevents the chain from flying off if it derails. The ergonomic handle gives a stable grip so you can work with more control.

Tool free chain tensioning means you can adjust or replace the chain without searching for tools. The automatic lubrication system keeps the chain oiled, and the large filler opening makes topping up quick and clean. The included battery shows its charge level with LED indicators and charges fast, so you can continue working without long breaks.

For pruning trees in the garden, preparing firewood, clearing fallen branches or building projects with construction timber, this is one of the best cordless options in this price range, especially with the full battery kit included.
