The Clementoni Idea Create Your Pens kit is a wonderfully creative activity for children from age 6 and up, giving them everything they need to design and assemble their very own personalised pens from scratch. Conceived, designed, and developed in Italy by Clementoni, one of Europe’s most trusted children’s toy and game brands, the kit combines creative play with practical skill development in a compact and affordable package.

The Butterflies edition includes three pen barrels that children can customise by choosing from a range of vibrant inks, iridescent decorations, beads, elastic cords, and three different butterfly-themed characters. Each pen can be assembled in a different combination, meaning every child ends up with something entirely unique that reflects their own creative choices. The transparent pen barrels make the colourful inks and decorations visible from the outside, giving the finished pens a bright and eye-catching look.

Beyond the fun of making something by hand, the kit actively develops hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and logical thinking as children work through the assembly steps. The included instruction manual guides children through the process clearly, making it easy enough to complete independently for most children in the target age range.

The finished pens are fully functional ballpoint pens that children can actually use at school or at home, adding an extra layer of satisfaction to the creative process. The decorations can also be rearranged once the new pens are finished, extending the play value of the kit.

Other themes in the Clementoni Idea pen range include Siren, Fantasy, and Tropical, making it easy to mix and match as gifts.
