The LEGO Easter Bunny and Chick Egg Hunt (set 40808) is a 140-piece seasonal building set designed for children aged 8 and up, combining a fun Easter theme with the open-ended creative play that makes LEGO sets enjoyable beyond a single build session. It makes a compact, affordable Easter gift that delivers something to build, display, and play with rather than disappearing like chocolate.

The set builds a spring meadow scene complete with a tree, flowers, and mushrooms. Two brick-built animal figures are included, an Easter bunny and a chick, alongside six buildable colourful eggs that can be hung on the tree branches for the animals to collect. A net and a wagon with rolling wheels round out the accessories, giving children a simple role-play scenario to act out once the build is complete.

The finished tree model measures over 14 cm high, 15 cm wide, and 10 cm deep, making it a substantial enough display piece to sit on a shelf, windowsill, or Easter table arrangement. It works as both a building activity and a seasonal decoration, which extends its usefulness beyond the Easter weekend itself.

The set is fully compatible with other LEGO bricks and connects naturally with other Easter-themed LEGO releases such as the separately available Decorative Easter Egg set (40816). For ages 8 and up.
