It’s finally happening: Hollow Knight: Silksong will launch on September 4, 2025, and the price is surprisingly low!
Team Cherry confirmed that the long-awaited follow-up will cost just €19.99, with digital release set for 4 PM CET in Europe. That’s below what many fans expected after years of hype.
And honestly: it’s almost hard to believe that a game seven years in the making is launching at this price on day one. With most AAA titles pushing the €70 mark, this feels like a thank-you gift to fans.
At launch, Silksong will only be available digitally on all platforms. A physical edition is planned for 2026, starting with Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, with other consoles to follow later.
As in the original Hollow Knight, a Collector’s Edition might be released later, but there’s no official confirmation yet.
In Silksong, players take control of Hornet and must navigate a kingdom ruled by silk and song. Expect deadly foes, ancient puzzles, and a beautiful hand-drawn world that builds on everything fans loved in the first game.
If you’re planning to jump in right away, set your alarms for September 4 at 16:00 CET.
