The Polaroid Now Generation 2 is the updated version of Polaroid’s most popular analog instant camera, now built with 40% recycled materials and upgraded to USB-C charging via an internal lithium-ion battery. It is compatible with both i-Type and 600 film, giving it flexibility across the most widely available Polaroid film formats. Film is sold separately.

The dual lens autofocus system is the key technical improvement over older Polaroid models. Rather than relying on a fixed focus that works acceptably across most distances, the Now Gen 2 actively switches between a close-range lens for subjects between roughly 0.55 and 1.3 metres and a far lens for distances beyond that. This makes a meaningful difference to sharpness and overall image quality, particularly for portrait shots and close-up subjects where fixed focus cameras tend to soften.

Beyond the core autofocus, the camera adds two creative features that broaden what you can do with it. Double Exposure mode allows two separate exposures to be layered onto a single piece of film, creating combined images that are unique to analog photography. The self-timer mode gives you roughly 10 seconds to get into the frame, and the flash is calibrated to give natural-looking results rather than the bleached-out overexposed look common on cheaper instant cameras.

The human-friendly flash, neck strap, and USB-C charging cable are all included in the box.
