The D.Perlla 16-Piece Knife Block Set is a complete kitchen knife collection that covers every cutting task a home cook regularly faces, all stored in a handsome acacia wood block that sits neatly on the countertop. The set brings together the essential knives alongside a set of steak knives, kitchen shears, a carving fork, and a sharpener, meaning everything needed for food preparation and serving comes in a single purchase.

The blade steel is X50Cr15 high-carbon German stainless steel, hardened to 55 on the Rockwell scale. Each blade is hand-polished to a 14 to 16 degree edge per side using taper grind edge technology, which produces a sharper initial edge and helps maintain that sharpness through regular use. This steel grade balances hardness with corrosion resistance, making it a practical choice for everyday kitchen use rather than a purely ceremonial display set.

The handles are triple-riveted solid wood, laminated and polished for hygiene and durability. The full tang construction, where the blade steel extends through the entire length of the handle, gives each knife proper balance and significantly increases longevity compared to partial tang alternatives. The ergonomic shape provides a secure grip during extended prep sessions.

The 16 pieces included are: 20cm chef knife, 20cm slicing knife, 18cm santoku knife, 20cm serrated bread knife, 18cm carving fork, 13cm utility knife, 9cm paring knife, six 11cm serrated steak knives, kitchen shears, a sharpening rod, and the acacia wood block. Not dishwasher safe – hand wash recommended.
